Sights Of Nikko

Thank you all for viewing my blog. There are so many viewers daily, from 104 countries now. It motivates me to keep posting. Thank you for your comments, for asking questions at times. As you may have noticed, I always reply.

Japan is a beautiful country, worth visiting for the quality of the people and service. Every place has something interesting to show. My friend will visit Nikko next week, so I am showing some photos taken in Nikko today. Just a walk around - buildings and streets. It is a simple sightseeing, before going up to see the famous waterfalls and temples. You will surely find it a charming place.

Spring Flowers In Japan

There are so many flowers in Japan. I must have taken 1000s of photos with superb flowers. In a country where arranging flowers became the art of ikebana, such a wide variety of flowers is less surprising though.

These are simple spring flowers.

Peony is 牡丹 botan.

アヤメ ayame:

Spider is kumo 蜘蛛 and of course in katakana as well.
