"Kazamidori" Izakaya - Japanese Bar

Izakaya is a Japanese-style bar and restaurant. It is a common destination after work, where people drop by to have a drink and a bite. The name itself comes from sakaya - sake shop, and i - to stay. Izakaya is also called akachouchin - red lantern, because paper lanterns are traditionally found at the entrance of such an establishment. Kazamidori is located in Shijokarasuma.

Beer is often served with edamame - soybeans in the pod. Though I am a teetotaler and hardly ever drink, I like edamame a lot.
