Collecting Tourist Stamps In Japan
Somebody asked me about the tourist stamps I once mentioned in a post. They can be found in all the tourist spots, museums, shops, train stations, even some unexpected places. I have 100s of them and these are some randomly chosen examples. During one trip I met a Japanese man who would carry his notebook along everywhere. There were more than 2,000 stamps in it at that time. ^ ^

Kayabuki No Sato – Thatched Roof Village
It is located 30 km north of Kyoto. There are about 250
thatched-roof houses and many of them are old dwellings where people still live. A
visit here is a chance to experience the traditional feel of rural Japan. There
is a museum as well, and also a shop selling delicious rice bread. I love the shape of these roofs, I am grateful to the friends who took me there.
