Apart from the place presented in yesterday’s post, it is worth visiting the nearby Tatsuno Town, with a castle and a very old wagashi shop. Wagashi are traditional Japanese sweets. This shop is 270 years old. A shop selling wagashi is called wagashi-ya or wagashi-ten. Wagashi are traditionally made of mochi rice, azuki beans, fruit, plant ingredients.
