Near Osaka Castle

  1. Lovely buildings and architectute in general - I can't help it but think that all this is built in a highly unstable region - havig in mind all the earthquakes. So on top of being beautiful, those buildings are also robust and reliable. Impressive, isn't it.

    1. Yes, buildings are strong and generally earthquake-proof. A major problem may be the tsunami - even for that some defence is built. I experienced a strong earthquake, 7.4 at 3rd floor - it felt much less than that in fact. The building must have been on some "wheels" that reduce the impact. I like Japanese architecture, too. Have a nice Sunday! :-)
