Tatsuno Town is located near Ibo
River. Tatsuno Castle is a main attraction for tourists. There is a 270-year
old wagashi shop here, too. The owner was so welcoming, and even offered me a map and talked for a while about the many generations that have been producing wagashi in this place. Wagashi is a traditional Japanese
confectionery.
The entrance of the shop, above. And Tatsuno is also famous for the thin Japanese noodles called soumen.
