I showed some photos of a Noh play in the post on 13 August 2012. Noh is a form of musical drama performed since the 14th century. The main character wears a mask. The singing parts of Noh are called Utai. These are some pages of a book containing the chant performed on stage. This is how the “script” of a Noh play looks like. It includes drawings indicating the position of the body.
