This is a winter haiku less known in Japan, however so famous abroad. It was written by Hashin in the 19th century. There are several translations into English, Dutch, even Romanian. It is probably well-known abroad because it is good and also very easy to translate.
天も地もなしただ雪の降りしきる
No sky, no land, just snow falling incessantly
